Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 August 2026
clean-news is a personal, non-commercial side project. By using it you accept the terms below. They're deliberately short.
What this is
A news reader that collects headlines from public RSS feeds, rewrites them to state the underlying fact rather than tease it, and summarises each story into a few bullet points. It's free, there's nothing to buy, and there are no ads.
Summaries are generated by software, and can be wrong
Headlines and bullets on this site are produced automatically by a large language model. They may misstate, omit, or distort what the original article said. They are not a substitute for reading the source. Every story links to the publisher it came from โ follow the link before relying on anything, and treat the summary as a pointer rather than a fact.
Nothing here is news reporting, financial advice, medical advice, or legal advice.
Content belongs to its publishers
Headlines, article text, and publisher logos belong to the organisations that produced them. This site links to their work and shows short summaries of it; it doesn't republish articles. If you're a publisher and want your feed removed, email the address below and it will be taken out.
Accounts
You can use the site without an account. If you sign in with Google, keep your Google account secure โ anyone with access to it can see your read history here. You may sign out at any time, or ask for your data to be deleted.
Reasonable use
Please don't attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site, and don't scrape it in bulk. The feeds are public โ take them from the publishers directly.
No warranty, and it might disappear
The site is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose. It's run by one person on personal infrastructure. It may break, lose data, change, or be shut down at any time without notice.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its summaries.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top will change with them.
